Viewmax.io review: Everygen pricing, free access, and subscription terms

Contents
Viewmax.io now redirects to Everygen.ai. The new name can be confusing if you are looking for the old video tool or trying to check its prices.
I registered to see what a new account could do. I received no credits, and attempts to generate content opened a payment screen. I could inspect settings and prices, but I could not produce a sample.
This review covers that signup experience, Seedance 2.5 costs, and subscription terms.
What happened to Viewmax.io?

Everygen's rebrand announcement says Viewmax grew beyond YouTube Shorts into image, video, and audio creation. Existing accounts, subscriptions, credits, and projects remain in place, according to the company. The change itself does not alter existing billing dates or prices.
The service covered here is everygen.ai, operated by Viewmax LLC. Other websites use similar Everygen names, so check the domain before signing in or paying.
Is Viewmax / Everygen free to try?
My new account received no signup credits. I could enter the workspace, but I could not test generation without paying.
The referral offer promises 100 credits after an invited friend subscribes. That makes it a purchase-dependent reward. Inviting someone who only creates an account does not qualify.
For someone comparing video tools, this is a drawback. You must commit money before checking whether the output suits your project.
My experience with the free account
I could select Seedance 2.5 and inspect its settings. A five-second video at 720p, without a reference video, showed a cost of 20 credits.
When I tried to generate, a payment pop-up blocked the task. Clicking Back did not return me to the previous screen in my session.
That was a frustrating interruption. It is also separate from subscription cancellation: I did not buy or cancel a plan during this test.
Since I could not finish a generation, I cannot judge Everygen's output quality or render speed.
Everygen pricing: what does Seedance 2.5 cost?
Monthly plans

The pricing screenshots show three plans:
| Plan | Monthly payment | Credits per month |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $24 | 200 |
| Pro | $49 | 500 |
| Creator | $139 | 1,000 |
Creator includes broader model access and extra features. A larger plan does not automatically mean cheaper credits.
Annual plans and first-month bonuses

| Plan | Monthly equivalent | Monthly credits | Yearly payment | First-month bonus |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $9 | $108 | 200 | 200 |
| Pro | $19 | $228 | 500 | 500 |
| Creator | $49 | $588 | 1,000 | 1,000 |
Annual billing requires an upfront yearly payment. The bonus applies to the first month; it is not a recurring monthly allowance. The screenshots do not establish whether it returns at annual renewal.
Cost per video and per second
Using the 20-credit quote for Seedance 2.5 at 720p for five seconds:
| Plan | Cost per 5-second video | Cost per second |
|---|---|---|
| Starter, monthly | $2.40 | $0.480 |
| Pro, monthly | $1.92 | $0.392 |
| Creator, monthly | $2.78 | $0.556 |
| Starter, annual | $0.90 | $0.180 |
| Pro, annual | $0.76 | $0.152 |
| Creator, annual | $0.98 | $0.196 |
These figures divide the plan price by its regular credits. They exclude bonuses, retries, and other charges, and assume you use the full allowance. They are allocated costs, not separate purchase prices.
Pro has the lowest unit cost in each billing mode. Creator may still make sense if you need its extra features.
Everygen also charges credits for actions such as exports, voiceovers, and captions. A finished Short can cost more than one generated clip. Its pricing FAQ says subscription credits reset monthly without rollover; separate top-ups last 90 days.
Will the annual plan cost more next year?
The screenshots do not label the discount as first-year-only or state the second-year charge. The crossed-out figures are monthly price comparisons, not confirmed renewal rates.
Everygen's terms allow price changes with reasonable notice. Treat the annual figures above as current advertised rates. Check the checkout and account billing details for your next charge.
Cancellation, auto-renewal, and refunds
Everygen says subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Its terms say cancellation stops the next renewal while access continues through the paid period. Payments are generally non-refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Subscription and refund terms
Customer reports show mixed experiences. An August 2026 Trustpilot review describes being unable to access an account to cancel while charges continued. Other reviews include updates reporting resolved cancellation issues and refunds.
These are individual accounts, not proof that every customer has the same problem. Still, they are worth considering before paying for a full year.
Keep the cancellation confirmation and check that your account shows renewal is off. If you enabled automatic credit refills, check that setting too.
Who is Everygen best for?
Everygen may suit creators who want scripts, voiceovers, and captions alongside video generation. Those tools could justify a subscription if you use them often.
For occasional model tests, the lack of signup credits makes the choice harder. Confirm access to your intended model before buying.
FAQs abour EveryGen and ViewMax
Is Everygen the same as Viewmax?
Yes. Everygen.ai is the renamed Viewmax.io service.
Does inviting a friend unlock free credits?
Only after the friend subscribes, under the referral offer I saw.
Do subscription credits roll over?
No. Everygen says they refresh each month. Separate top-ups last 90 days.
Is the annual discount guaranteed at renewal?
The screenshots do not confirm future renewal prices. Check your billing terms before purchasing.
Final Thoughts
Everygen has a broad set of creator tools, but my free account could not test their output. Its annual pricing reduces the calculated cost per clip, while requiring a larger upfront payment.
I would start with a monthly plan after confirming model access. Check the renewal amount and cancellation process before committing to a year.
