ThankYouAI Website for Seedance 2.5: Is It Gone?
Contents

If you recently visited ThankYouAI to use Seedance 2.5, you may have found a website that still loads but does not work as expected. New accounts receive no credits, checkout fails, and generation tools appear unavailable.

So, is ThankYouAI gone?

The short answer is that ThankYouAI is being moved into Fish Audio. The old website remains online, but we could not use its main services during our test on September 15, 2026. We then tried its replacement, Fish Studio, to see whether new users could still test Seedance for free.

What is ThankYouAI?

ThankYouAI was built as an all-in-one AI creation platform. It combined image generation, video generation, audio tools, a visual canvas, and an API in one place.

Its model library included tools from several providers. Users could work with video models such as Seedance and Wan, image models such as Nano Banana and GPT Image, and Fish Audio for text to speech.

ThankYouAI was operated by 39 AI, Inc. The same company describes FishAudio as one of its current products, so the two services were already part of the same company group. This helps explain why ThankYouAI is now moving into Fish Audio rather than transferring to an unrelated platform.

Is ThankYouAI shutting down?

On August 19, 2026, the ThankYouAI team posted a migration notice in its Discord community. The announcement said that ThankYouAI would gradually merge into Fish Audio.

Its image, video, and creative workflows would become part of Fish Creative, a dedicated creation mode inside Fish Audio. Future development would also focus on Fish Audio.

This means the ThankYouAI brand and its standalone website are being phased out. It is better to describe the service as moving than disappearing. However, that distinction may not matter much to someone who simply wants to generate a video today.

What happened when we tested ThankYouAI?

We created a new ThankYouAI account on September 15. Registration worked, but the account did not receive any free credits.

We also tried the payment process. The checkout did not complete, which meant there was no practical way to add credits and test Seedance 2.5 on the old website.

The domain was still online, and parts of the interface remained accessible. The core service was not usable in our test. A website that opens is not necessarily an active product, especially during a migration.

Users who still have projects or credits on ThankYouAI should check the official Discord community for migration instructions. The August announcement said that more details would be shared as the transition continued.

Moving to Fish Studio

We next registered for Fish Studio through Fish Audio. The new account received 8,000 credits, which looked like enough for a basic video test.

Fish Studio combines Fish Audio's voice tools with image and video generation. The creation panel supports start frames, end frames, image references, video references, and audio references. Seedance 2.0 Mini and Seedance 2.5 were both available in the model menu.

For our first test, we selected:

  • Seedance 2.0 Mini
  • Image to video
  • 480p
  • Five seconds
  • One reference image

The interface showed a cost of 6,050 credits. Since the account had 8,000 credits, the balance should have covered the request and left 1,950 credits.

It did not work that way.

After we clicked the generation button, Fish Studio opened a paid subscription window instead of submitting the task. We saw this even though the displayed balance was higher than the stated generation cost.

The signup credits were present in the account, but they did not give us access to this Seedance test. The interface did not clearly explain whether video generation required a subscription or whether the free credits were limited to certain Fish Audio features.

The image to video test we planned

Our source image showed an AI-generated, photorealistic 20-year-old Greek woman in a 1940s coastal setting. We chose a simple motion prompt so it would be easier to judge facial consistency and movement:

The 20-year-old Greek woman gently raises her teacup, takes a small sip, then looks toward the sea with a soft smile. A light breeze moves her dark hair, headscarf, dress, and the nearby bougainvillea. Sunlight shimmers across the Aegean Sea. Slow camera push-in, natural facial movement, realistic motion, one continuous shot. Preserve her face, identity, outfit, and authentic 1940s Greek setting. No morphing, extra people, text, logos, or watermark.

Because the subscription window stopped the request, no video was generated. We therefore could not judge Seedance 2.0 Mini's motion quality or identity consistency on Fish Studio.

Does Fish Studio support human reference images?

Our test does not prove that Fish Studio blocks human references. The request never reached generation, so the subscription prompt and content moderation are separate issues.

Still, posts in the ThankYouAI Discord community suggest that image moderation is strict. Members have reported policy errors when adding images to Seedance 2.5, including requests rejected by content moderation.

These are individual community reports, not a complete platform policy. They do suggest that photorealistic faces may be harder to use than objects, environments, or illustrated characters. Our source image was AI-generated, but it looked like a real photograph and could still trigger a face or identity review.

Creators planning to use realistic people should test this workflow before buying a large subscription.

Fish Studio vs SeeGen AI pricing

Fish Studio displayed a price of 94,600 credits for a five-second Seedance 2.5 video at 720p. That equals 18,920 credits per second.

We calculated the dollar cost using the two monthly plans shown in Fish Studio:

PlatformPaymentCreditsCost
Fish Studio Plus$15/M250,000$1.14/s
Fish Studio Pro$100/M2,000,000$0.95/s
SeeGen Starter$17.99 one time3,000$0.36/s
SeeGen$99.99 one time22,000$0.27/s
SeeGen API Pack$500 one time125,000$1.20/s
fish studio vs seegen ai

For Fish Studio Plus, each credit costs $15 divided by 250,000. Multiplying that rate by 18,920 gives a cost of about $1.14 per second.

The Pro plan has a lower effective credit price. At $100 for 2,000,000 credits, the same second costs about $0.95.

SeeGen AI charges 60 credits per second for Seedance 2.5 at 720p without video input. The $500 pack includes 125,000 credits, or $0.004 per credit. The result is $0.24 per second and $1.20 for five seconds.

Under these specific plans, Fish Studio costs about four to five times more per second. The comparison is not perfectly equal because Fish Studio uses monthly subscriptions while the SeeGen example uses a larger one-time credit pack. The plans may also include different tools and benefits. The table only compares the effective cost of the same Seedance 2.5 setting.

Prices and credit rates can change, so check the current SeeGen AI pricing page and Fish Studio checkout before paying.

What we liked about Fish Studio

The interface is clean and easy to understand. Image, video, and audio references sit in the same creation panel, and the credit estimate appears before generation. Bringing these tools into Fish Audio also makes sense for people who already use its voice models.

The problem is access. An 8,000-credit signup balance creates the impression that a new user can run a small Seedance test. In our case, the paid plan prompt stopped the request even though we had enough credits.

A short explanation next to the balance would make this much clearer.

Final Thoughts

ThankYouAI is not gone in the strictest sense. Its tools are being transferred to Fish Audio under Fish Creative, and the old domain remains online.

In practical terms, the old ThankYouAI service did not work during our September 15 test. Registration gave us no credits, payment failed, and we could not generate a video.

Fish Studio appears to be the intended replacement. It gave us 8,000 credits and listed several Seedance models, but it still asked us to subscribe when we submitted a 6,050-credit task. We also found community reports of strict moderation for image references.

For users who want a browser-based creative workspace with voice, image, and video tools, Fish Studio may be worth watching as the migration continues. For anyone who needs predictable Seedance 2.5 access and clear per-generation pricing now, the current experience leaves too many unanswered questions.
