Creen AI review: Is it really free AI video generator with no sign-up?

Contents
Creen AI caught my attention with a simple promise: free AI image and video generation, with no sign-up required. I wanted to see how far I could get before I needed an account or a paid plan.
The site showed 100 credits before I signed in. That was enough for a five-second Seedance 2.0 Mini video at 480p. But when I tried to submit the task, Creen asked me to register.
I also checked GPT Image 2, the subscription plans, and the separate credit packs. When I tried to start a payment, a "Service Error" message appeared.
There were useful parts, too. My uploaded files and prompt survived registration, so I could continue where I left off. This review covers that experience, the costs I found, and the limits of the free offer.
Can you use Creen AI without signing up?
The Creen AI website promotes free use without an account. It also says that free access applies to selected models, while some models require credits.
In my test, I could open the workspace, upload material, enter a prompt, and view a 100-credit balance without signing in. I chose Seedance 2.0 Mini, set the output to 480p, and selected five seconds. The task required 70 credits.
The sign-up request appeared when I tried to generate the video. For this task, creating an account was part of the process.

That distinction matters. Being able to prepare a task without logging in is useful, but I expected to complete it without registering, too.
At least Creen kept my work. After registration, my material and prompt were still there. I did not have to upload everything again.
This does not prove that every Creen model requires an account. It does mean that the Seedance 2.0 Mini flow I tested was not fully available without sign-up.

What does Creen AI offer?
Creen combines image, video, and audio tools in one website. During my visit, I found Seedance 2.0 Mini, Seedance 2.5, and GPT Image 2 among the options.
The model choice is useful for people who want to try different tools without moving between several websites. Access to a model, though, does not mean the free balance will cover it.
Creen also has an iPhone app listed on the App Store. Its website includes a Google Play link, but that link returned a 404 page when checked.
I would use the website or the verified App Store listing for now. A broken Android link does not tell us whether an app was removed, moved, or linked incorrectly.
My Creen AI tests
Seedance 2.0 Mini and Seedance 2.5
The Seedance 2.0 Mini task used 70 of my 100 credits, leaving 30. That gives a new user room for one video at the settings I chose, but not a second attempt at the same cost.

I also checked Seedance 2.5. The 720p configuration I viewed required 420 credits, well beyond the initial balance. I did not record its duration, so I cannot give a reliable cost per second for that task.
These tests show what the trial balance could cover. They are not enough to judge output quality across the models.

GPT Image 2 with the remaining credits
GPT Image 2 at 1K and Medium quality required 80 credits. With 30 left, I chose 1K and Low quality instead, which required 10 credits.
For the image test, I used this short dreamcore prompt:
A bright dreamcore photograph of an empty mint-green train above pink clouds. One white rabbit sits on a pink velvet bench beside a clear glass vase holding three orange tulips. Vines frame the windows, and shallow water covers only the aisle, reflecting soft sunlight. Centered wide shot, pastel colors, realistic textures, gentle glow. Peaceful and surreal. 16:9, no people, text, or watermark.
The scene gives the model clear details to follow: one rabbit, three tulips, set colors, and water confined to the aisle.

Low quality makes another test possible with a small balance. It should not be treated as a fair match for Medium quality on another platform.

Creen AI pricing and credit costs
The pricing page showed four plans. Monthly and annual options included the same listed monthly credit amounts, with a lower monthly equivalent for annual billing.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Credits | GPTImage 2 | SD 2.5/s |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Plus | $15/M | $7.5/M | 3,000 | $0.40/$0.20 | $0.42/$0.21 |
| Pro | $29/M | $14.5/M | 8,000 | $0.29/$0.15 | $0.30/$0.15 |
| Max | $59/M | $29.5/M | 20,000 | $0.24/$0.12 | $0.25/$0.12 |
| Ultra | $189/M | $94.50/M | 80,000 | $0.19/$0.10 | $0.20/$0.10 |
Costs use 80 credits per GPT Image 2 image at 1K, Medium quality, and 420 credits per five-second Seedance 2.5 video at 720p without a video reference. Estimates assume you use all monthly credits. Annual plans require yearly payment upfront.
Note: On SeeGen AI, the $9.99 package includes 1,500 credits. GPT Image 2 costs 10 credits, or about $0.067 per image.
Plus, the Credit Packs tab was the part I liked least. I expected a one-time purchase, but the page described a monthly subscription.

What I liked and what frustrated me
Keeping my material after registration was a useful detail. A login request is less annoying when it does not erase the work already done.
The 100-credit balance also covered a low-cost video task and left room to try an image setting. That is enough to explore part of the service without paying first.
The limits became clear quickly, though. The balance could not cover Seedance 2.5 or GPT Image 2 Medium after the video task. The sign-up request also arrived later than I expected from the website's wording.
I prefer one-time credit purchases, so automatic renewal on credit packs makes Creen less appealing to me.
Payment was another problem. When I tried to begin a purchase, the page showed "Service Error." I could not tell what caused it. That single error does not prove checkout is always broken, but it stopped my purchase attempt.

FAQs about Creen AI Video Generator
Is Creen AI completely free?
There are free options and paid models. I saw 100 credits before signing in, but the model and settings determined how much I could generate. It is not free access to every configuration.
Can I generate a video without an account?
My Seedance 2.0 Mini task required registration at submission. Other models may behave differently, so check the specific tool you plan to use.
Can I buy credits without a membership plan?
The official FAQ says a credit pack can be purchased as its own subscription. It still renews monthly, even without a separate membership.
How do I cancel Creen AI?
Creen directs users to its subscription management page. Membership and credit packs are separate subscriptions, so check both. Its FAQ says to cancel at least five days before renewal. I have not tested cancellation myself.
Final thoughts
Creen AI gave me enough credits to try a limited set of options. It also preserved my work when I registered, which made the process easier.
But the task I chose still required an account, higher-cost settings exceeded the free balance, and credit packs involved recurring payments. The checkout error left me unable to complete my purchase attempt.
Try the free balance first. Before paying, check your model's cost, the renewal terms, and whether the credit allowance fits the work you need to do.
