I Tested 21 Websites. Only 3 Let Me Try Seedance 2.5 for Free

Contents
Finding a site that lists Seedance 2.5 is easy. Getting a free video from it takes more work.
Across 21 websites, three let me try Seedance 2.5 without paying: SeeGen AI, WaveSpeed AI, and Topview AI. Several others had enough free credits for Seedance 2.0, Mini, or Fast. Some offered credits that could not cover a Seedance video.
Free Seedance trials at a glance
The first three rows are the Seedance 2.5 options. Mini and Fast are separate models, so their free trials do not count as a 2.5 test.
Test Seedance 2.5 with free plan:
| Website | Free allowance | What the trial covered |
|---|---|---|
| SeeGen AI | 200 credits after signup and joining Discord | 2.5: 480p, 5s for 150 credits |
| WaveSpeed AI | $1 for eligible new accounts | 2.5: 480p, 5s for $0.81 in my test |
| Topview AI | 5 credits | 2.5: 480p, 7s for 4.9 credits |
Test Seedance 2.0 with free plan:
| Website | Free allowance | What the trial covered |
|---|---|---|
| PiAPI | $0.5 | 2.0: 480p, 5s for $0.50 |
| Cuty AI | 30 credits | 2.0: 480p, 4s for 28 credits |
| SeedGen | 20 credits | Enough for 2.0 at 480p, 4s |
| SeeAPI | 60 signup + 6 check-in credits | Fast: 480p, 4s for 56 credits; Mini for 40 |
| ClipDance | 3 signup + 1 check-in credit | Mini: 480p, 5s for 4 credits |
| Creen AI | 100 credits | Mini: 480p, 5s for 70 credits |
| Seeddance AI | 10 credits | Mini: listed 480p, 5s test costs 10 credits |
| SeeVideo AI | 100 credits | Mini: 480p, 5s for 55 credits |
| Doubao | Free use within account limits | Mini and Fast: 720p, 3–10s; Chinese phone number required |
Three websites where I could try Seedance 2.5 for free
SeeGen AI

After signup and joining Discord, new users can claim 200 credits. My five-second Seedance 2.5 test at 480p cost 150, leaving 50 credits.
The extra step is Discord. You need to complete the credit claim before generating. The balance covers one test at these settings, not a second full attempt.
WaveSpeed AI

My account received $1, and the 480p, five-second test cost $0.81. That left $0.19.
The public model page now lists $0.90 for those settings. I would keep the test charge and the listed price separate rather than assume every account gets $0.81.
WaveSpeed says the $1 offer is for eligible accounts. Some premium models may not accept trial credits, so check access before planning a test.
Topview AI

Topview gave me five credits. A seven-second Seedance 2.5 video at 480p needed 4.9, leaving 0.1 credit.
This was the longest 2.5 clip among these three trial setups. It does not prove better quality, but it gives you more seconds to inspect. There is almost no credit left for another attempt, so choose a simple first prompt.
How to try Seedance 2.5 for free on SeeGen AI
- Register at SeeGen AI, join its Discord community, and follow the steps to claim 200 credits.
- Choose Seedance 2.5 and text-to-video. Set the output to 480p and five seconds, with no reference video.
- Enter a short prompt. Check that the task costs 150 credits, then submit it.
- Preview and download the result. A successful task at that price leaves 50 credits.
For a first try, describe one subject doing one action. Keep the camera movement simple. This makes it easier to see whether the video follows your request.
What does Seedance 2.5 cost after the free trial?
Video prices with a budget of around $500
This compares five-second outputs without reference video or upscaling. Credit costs assume you use the full allowance. Taxes and private discounts are excluded.
| Platform | Purchase basis | 480p/5s | 720p/5s |
|---|---|---|---|
| SeeGen AI | $500 once; 125,000 credits | $0.60 | $9,60 |
| WaveSpeed | $500 usage budget at public rates | $0.90 | $1.80 |
| Topview AI | Business annual: $528, 3,000 credits | $0.616 | $1.144 |
Topview's annual plan is cheaper at 720p and 1080p in this comparison. SeeGen costs less at 480p. These are different buying terms: Topview requires the annual payment for this rate, while SeeGen and WaveSpeed use prepaid credits.
How many tasks can run at once?
SeeGen's $500 API pack lists 480+ concurrent tasks. A $500 WaveSpeed top-up places a new, unrestricted account in Silver, with 300 concurrent tasks.
Topview Business lists eight concurrent tasks. Its API guide describes a shared queue but does not confirm the same API limit. These figures are published limits, not a test of video speed. They also do not describe the free plans.
Subscriptions and costs to check
WaveSpeed does not require a subscription. Purchased credits do not expire and are generally non-refundable. Minimum top-ups depend on the payment method. See its billing rules.
Topview's Business plan renews each year. Extra credit packs last 24 months, but its lowest-rate 1,000-credit pack is reserved for Business Annual and Ultra Annual members. The public page does not clearly settle whether all ordinary packs need a subscription.
Topview's Ultra and Team plan credits cannot pay for API calls. Other eligible balances are needed. Unlimited generation is web-only. These are stated purchase limits, not evidence of undisclosed fees.
Why are free Seedance 2.5 trials so limited?
Each video has a generation cost. Longer clips and higher resolution raise that cost, as the public rate tables show.
A signup bonus can look large but still fall short. In our Picvo review, five signup credits could not cover a 115-credit Seedance 2.5 task.
Other sites limit model access by plan. Reducing trial spending or repeat-account abuse may explain some limits, but those are possible business reasons, not confirmed policies for every provider.
Why the other sites did not make the list
A free account does not always unlock Seedance. A2E reserved it for paid users. CDance showed enough credits for Mini but opened a payment window when I tried to submit.
I also could not complete a free Seedance 2.5 test on fal.ai, Replicate, Pollo AI, or SeaArt AI. That describes my checks, not a claim that these sites never offer trials.
Which free trial should you choose?
Start with SeeGen, WaveSpeed, or Topview if you want to test 2.5. Choose based on the signup steps and the paid terms you would accept later.
For API work, compare concurrency and eligible credits. For occasional web use, check renewal and expiry rules before buying. Save your first result and task settings before spending money on more attempts.
Final Thoughts
Of the 21 websites I tested, only three let me generate a Seedance 2.5 video for free:SeeGen AI, WaveSpeed AI and Topview AI. My seven-second video at 480p cost 4.9 credits.
Other sites offered trials for Seedance 2.0, Mini, or Fast, but those are different models. Check the model name before spending your free credits. Before buying more, compare the video cost, subscription terms, and whether your credits work with the API.
